Prattled on for about 5 minutes saying that I would get a discount on electricity and gas. Got very rude and tried to talk me down when I told him his call was a scam. I think it was an attempt to get me to change my electricity provider.

Just thanks to all who contributed!
New landline answering machine didn't recognize caller as a safe number so did not allow person to leave a message.
But it still showed number as a missed call!

Wanted to talk about switching electricity. I'm on the Do Not Call Register, so hung up.

Some bloke prattling on on my answering machine, like he was having a conversation with somebody else. Tried calling back, constantly engaged.

Just received a call from that number didn't answer....no message left
