Caller: Caller claimed from Master Card

Claimed from master card said card had been compromised with two international air fares advised they had cancelled card but wanted to know expiry date and security number kept referring to my husband by shortened version of his name which doesn't appear on card - we refused these details and checked with bank who confirmed a scan - bank never asks for security code.

Called cell phone and landline in quick succession. Didn’t leave message. I assumed it was a nuisance call and see others have had a similar experience. I will now block this number.

Speaking in an Asian language, left a pre-recorded voicemail. I've had many of these calls, to the point I don't answer my phone anymore, unless I know who it is. When the call is from an unknown number, at 6:30pm, on a Sunday, chances are it's a scam.
