They claimed to be from Optus. It sounded like a call centre, with lots of noise and chatting in the background. She said I was eligible to receive some sort of discount. When I queried who she's calling from because I don't have an Optus account, she immediately hung up.

Complete scam telling me i had an issue with my Optus account. I don't even use Optus 🤣🤣🤣

SPAM, ringing from Optus advising we are eligible for 50% discount for 7 months. Told them we didn't have an optus account and we are with telstra. Then they said we'll this discount is for Telstra aswell......

Same - claimed to be from Optus (I'm with Optus) and they said that i'm entitled to a 50% discount and they need to verify my details - I said that you've got my account details you don't need to verify me to give me a discount - if you want to give me a discount give it to me - they tried to get me to verify my details and i refused - she kept trying to talk over the top of me so i hung up.

Said was from Optus but was asking to email address and personal information
