Caller: Local Plumber Magnet

Put a magnet in my letter box with the words "Local Plumber". No Reference to a company or Business Name or ABN.
Provides a License Number for advanced plumbing and gas but do a quick search on QBCC website or Brisbane Gov website and nothing comes up with the number provided. Very Doggy!!!!
Suspect they charge a call out fee and deliberately quote over the top as they are not qualified. Easy money for doing nothing!!!!!!!!!!!

Was quoted $150 call out fee for a non urgent plumbing issue. No thanks.

They can keep their fridge magnet !

They don’t deal in a professional way and don’t provide a quote for you to think over and make you hurry into decisions. They charged 6 - 7 times more than the market price and had bad customer service on top of that. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

These plumbers provide you with a quote you can't keep or take a picture of. The quote is massively overpriced so you have to decline. Nevertheless they charge 50 bucks to come and see you.

Thats exactly what happened to me today, have never felt so pressured by an electrician before, awful!

Fridge magnet, contacted to get quote. Advised callout fee was $550 for an afternoon. Checked Licence Number 1314082 and QBCC has no record of this Licence Number. Avoid, it has the appearance of sharp business practice.

Please all vunerable people,do not phone or use these people.All the above comments are so true.They quoted me $ 1600 and a genuine plumber did it for $ 350
