I complained to Telstra & was sent a home phone that the caller has to identify themselves before being put through . Stopped all nuisance calls .

It's got so bad, I refuse to answer the phone if I don't recognise the number.

Just another charity scam.
They hang up when you answer.
Phoned back and automated message says calling for Australian charity.

At 8.49 pm, 23mins after I had blocked another of their numbers (07) 3497 3230), this number called. Did not answer either, but found out about them through this site.

Info on this great site says it’s one of the charities. Calls from at least four landline numbers and three different mobile numbers on frequent occasions. No longer answer any 03 numbers or local 07 numbers I don’t recognise. Can be blocked on my mobile, but not on my landline. Calls are all day and up to nine at night. Can’t these be stopped somehow?

I keep getting these phone calls from different numbers , can't block them on my house phone. I flatly refuse to answer calls from numbers I don't have on caller id.
Made mistake answering one day , told them not interested but kept going on and on so hung up and within 2 seconds called back from a different number. Scam.

Asking for money to help feed the 'food insecure'. Seems to be pre-recorded as it said the website which does not exist then was going to transfer me to the payment section when i said that i wasn't comfortable giving details over the phone

Call from a lady claiming to be from an outfit called 'Your Community' asking for cash donations to help disadvantaged hungry people. She said the standard donation was $130! I offered $10 and was put thru to what soundedf like an Asian call centre. I told them to forget it and hung up.

They are still at it why can't all Telco providers stop these people????

Unanswered call as per usual. Frustrating. You should be able to call and have name removed. Democracy. My choice!!!

Rings every day then hangs up. Pain in the arse.
