Number is calling between 0530 and 0800. I keep getting messages about missed calls but no information or message from the caller. Go Away and let me sleep.

AAMI phone spam. I have a policy up for renewal in over three months (and had already decided to move back to NRMA due to their improved customer service). The dude from AAMI had my incorrect details, which alarmed me and seemed suspicious. I told him not to call during work hours and he hung up on me. AAMI - it's poor form to spam your customers for months, but given that you have - astonishingly - convinced yourselves it is a terrific idea, make sure your representatives are polite. Dreadful marketing. But then I have long felt unlucky I'm with AAMI.

Legally they shouldn't be harassing us at all Each time I call a provider I always state no marketing calls and they keep doing it so the opt out option isn't working at their end either. It should be stopped all together. People are not stupid if they want to find another insurance co, telco or whatever they will call on their own they don't need to be harassed by unwanted marketing calls on the phone or their computers either actually.

I answered , they hung up in my ear... I rang them back and they said they were suncorp which encompassed GIO and about 8 other brands. Then went on to say that I may have had a missed call from them... UM NO... YOU HUNG UP IN MY EAR!!! Even went on to say that I didn't have to do anything ... well thanks for that a**holes! Between these and the (fake)accident commission I feel rather popular with the amount of calls I get...

No idea what the purpose of this call was. Scam?? They asked me to enter an AAMI competition to win $20k and then tried to on-sell me other types of insurance. They knew all my email addresses and postal addresses. Weird. Obviously calling from overseas. Have blocked number..

I spoke with aami. They reckon they don't ask suncorp to call aami customers, and to treat the calls as a scam.
Many aami customers have also been sent emails from "suncorp on behalf of aami", but actually it is a scam.

Received 5 calls during work hours - obviously they don't understand that I also am working at the same time. Enough is enough - cancelled my insurance policy and signed up with another company that does not do this.

If everyone started doing this I bet AAMI, GIO, Shannons, APIA, Just Car, Insure My Ride, Vero, Bingle, CIL, Resilium, Terri Scheer, Asteron and others of trying to up sell to existing customers by pestering them with calls would swiftly change!!!

SCAM.

I have my business insurance with AAMI and someone from this number called and said my I've failed to make my payment and want me to confirm if my credit card details are still correct. They even have the last 4 digit of my credit card numbers and expiry date. I told him I am going to check online to see what's going on and he said I can only pay him over the phone. So I hang up.
