Caller: Suncorp

not sure if this was real or not, i refused to give her any info.

Was sent an email purporting to be Suncorp Bank - with phone number (07) 3135 3152 or 1300 356 652 re: my business account. Contacted Suncorp on their actual 13 number. This was a legitimate phone number for Suncorp.

Caller: "Suncorp" Customer Identification Team

Didn't give details. I said I'd call through the general line. They knew my name, address etc. but couldn't tell me why they were calling

Let me help you with your Suncorp account said the message .... I don't think so. Block and report this scammer.

Did same. (07) 3135 3152 was legit Suncorp. I think they are tidying up dead wood accounts as they continue to move into the Quantum Financial System of banking.
Imagine carrying over dead accounts or at least accounts with little to no activity.

Caller: An Indian sounding Male

Called to update my account details, the account has been inactive for 10 years. I Would not provide personal information to this number.

Caller: Indian man claiming to be suncorp bank

The phone call seemed legit, wanted to sort out details on my business account. They ended up emailing me a link to an online form to complete. The form ended up being a request to add an authority to my account. Didn't touch it and will ignore future calls from this number.

It is a genuine Suncorp number, but they're as useless as.... something on a bull. You do verification for ID, then they refuse to do verification to say why they called, and say you have to go to a office. Waste of 40 minutes, and a disgrace. A scam would have been better than this.
I would close my accounts if I didn't need them where I am for coins for business.

I didn't get a call from this number but they emailed me asking me to call this number to update my details or my accounts would be restricted. I just called Suncorp on their customer support number 131175 to verify that it was legit and it all seemed to check out as I did have to update my business details. Hope that helps.

Indian man claiming to be from Suncorp calling to discuss my account. Advised him that I will not provide any information over the phone. I will visit my local branch and discuss with them. Highly suspicious that this is a scam caller.
