Called wanting to do a survey on transport on the Gold Coast.

They say calling on behalf of ato for survey, when called back it says the number is been disconnected, its a spam,dont answer call

I received a call at on Friday, 13 July 19:35 by a male believed to be in his mid to late 30's asking for Cell. The caller obviously had some details as he quoted my correct surname. Intrigued, I called back a few minutes later and surprise surprise the call was disconnected. I called back the following morning and the phone rang then was diverted to a disconnected number. This number is active but whoever is using it hides behind call diversion.

This number called me at 9:14pm on a weekday, didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number from anywhere I've lived/worked. Tried to call back and got the "Your call could not be connected..." message.

My advice: Don't answer!

Never answer, they steal numbers and keep calling regardless of if your number is on the DNC register, f**k them and anyone who works there, death is too good for scum like this.

Once on a Tuesday night at 6.30pm, now tonight (Wednesday) at 5.45pm (AWST). Called back - 'call could not be connected'.

This number rung me and I didn’t pick it up in time. Rung back straight away and got a notification from Optus that the number had been disconnected. Disconnected in 30secs? Totally makes sense
