I was on hold with a robotic women’s south East Asian voice message said,” Welcome to Diamond Plaza. Your call is important to us. Please wait while. I waited just to hear what this scam was all about. When came round to my turn, the line was cut. I blocked and reported the number

Caller: An indian male

This fellow told me l have a problem with my eBay acc. Someone is using it and l told him l don't have sn eBay acc. He kept on about it as though what l just said meant nothing.
I said l would call eBay and sort it out.
He was Indian and his english was good.

Caller: Commonwealth Bank

Said his name was Edward Wilson from com bank, I asked him for his verification number which he gave me V2020463835. Was an Indian male, he then told me that Mark Hobbs tried to access money from my account the amount of $361.00 and he needed to block the account, so he needed to make sure he had the right account number, so I made up some numbers, he said I gave him too many numbers so I said them again, he still said it was the wrong number then he hung up on me

caller came up with a fake scenario about my network being hacked and tried to offer solutions but when I said I am not at home and asked for a number to call back on they got offensive telling me "Why am i not at home at that time". I said "believe it or not some people work for a living" and they promptly cut my call after that lmao

didn't leave a message so I checked here. Blacklisted the number.

Caller: Male caller

This call showed as coming from Brisbane, Qld. When I answered a male voice with an Indian voice (spoke very good English) told me that he was from the security section of the Commonwealth Bank and that my account had been accessed by a Mr. Mark Hobbs. I then replied that Mark Hobbs was an old family friend, there was a short silence and the caller said "OK sir, no problem" then promptly hung up. Certainly a scam, but done very politely!

Phone stated "Suspected Spam"; nil message left
