Caller: scammer Callled me first on another number that said it was from Sydney, caller said his name was Harry, but had a thick accent which I could barely understand. Said I was the recipient of a phone promotion: brand new smart phone with all these features. I didn't recognize the name of the phone company. I asked if I was a winner, why hadn't my phone company notified me by email. He said because it was a limited time promotion.etc etc. I like to see where things are going, so I let him go on initially. As he spoke it sounded less free and more like I needed to give him something so I said sorry not interested and hung up. He then called me back on above number which said it was from Brisbane. I said again, not interested, don't call again!. Clearly a scam.

Caller: Scam caller said it was MTD Mobile Company and that I had won a free Smart Phone tied to this mobile number. I played along. Then said it was 50% free. I asked where the company was based, the answer was "Sydney". Caller then hung up.
