Yes,  I am currently dealing with these scammers,  trying to get more on them today to find out exaclty what they want.

Mine was the same phone call first for a survey then, I would recieve a gift for promotional advertising of a MP4.  Still waiting.

Then call to say I had won 2nd prize of $400,000 HKD.

Next they want you to fill out a Winner Claim form, then ask for bank details or if you don't want to give them this, they can open up an account with the Bank of Hong Kong temporarily,  they did not pester me with this, so that they can transfer the money to you account.

They then get someone else from the Bank of Asia Hong Kong to ring you to verify the details.

Then they ask for a Fund Resource Certicate before they can transfer such a large amount due to government rules.

So be very careful,  they are very convincing and proffessional, they also ask you what you are going to do with the prize money.  They also ask you what you know about Galaxy Entertainment Group and explain why they are running this Raffle/Promotion.

I am still waiting from a call from Hong Kong !!  more details to follow.
They really get people where it hurts, everyone is looking for that bit extra to make life that bit better.

Thanks for your post Bub.  My mother-in-law has had the exact same experience from someone supposedly at Galaxy Entertainment - she has been going along with it for a few days now as there have been several phone calls.  MP4 player supposedly in the mail; a function in Sydney supposedly drawing out a prize; giving out a ticket number.

My Wife too had the call, and we where given Ticket Numbers and Phone numbers to call, it all sounded fine but I had found that the email domain name that was used for Banking Details was a kimo.com account, and it seems to be traced to a Yahoo account in Taiwan
