Supposedly from Amazon security Department. Totally bogus!

SCAM. Bit like the old PC scam but related to internet connection and wanted me to go to our modem to check flashing lights. Told him he was a scammer and that I’d report him to scam watch and hung up on him

Claimed to be from Telstra… about my internet being public… scam

I don't know anyone from 07 so did not answer and no msg was left..

Comes up as a Brisbane number, I live in QLD so I answered, supposedly from Amazon Prime, someone was making a $79.80 purchase on my account last night at 11.00pm. They provide a lot of detail to make it sound legitimate, Wanted me to open my phone so they could step me through the process to block this supposedly purchase. I dont have an amazon account.... told them to stop scamming people and hung up. Blocked number.

Answered but they hang up immediately. Most likely scammer checking your number is active or not.

I answered. No one on the other end. Heard beeps. Hung up straight away.

Caller: Scam call - said they were from EBAY Verification.

Scam. Have blocked the number.

Wanted me to download an app that would protect my ebay account. Due to someone overseas accessing my IP account and trying to make a $500 purchase - also they are going to steal my ID

She said from Telstra re my internet security???

Said he was from Telstra giggled then hung up

indian guy on the other line telling me that my telstra IP is in public and asking me to change it through google. SCAM. be aware!!

Missed call from this number and no message left

Answered the phone and a guy with an Indian voice and a weak voice said 'hello' after a few seconds. I instantly hung up because you know it's bulls**t

Called, I answered then turned it off.

Scammers claiming to be Telstra, told them we’re not with telstra and they hung up immediately.

Caller: I don't know

Asked to speak to me about my Telstra internet service. I said I don't have a Telstra internet service and asked to be taken off their call list immediately but was immediately hung up on.

Answered it and as I did it disconnected. Blocked now
