Caller: is it Optus Business Team

the recorded message is had to decipher and you are on hold and no one answers. I have googled this number and get nothing. I think it is a scam!

Caller: Something to do with Optus?

Wouldn't be Optus themselves, as they hide behind offshore support centres, not on the phone. Unsolicited and unwelcome call none the less.

Seeing the varying reports on this number, clear it's one of those numbers rented out to telemarketers. I got a pushy lady demanding to speak to owner 'about 5G' when I told her we were a remote office only admin staff here to make bookings for our business (air con servicing) and to visit the website, she spoke over me to again demand to speak about 5G. I had to repeat myself 3 times, with her talking over me each time. Eventually she hung up on me.

Caller: optus marketing

Telling me that they are not trying to sell anything, just want their marketing people to visit me. When I advised not interested, continued to talk over the top of me to say
not trying to sell anything. Very annoying that they will not take a polite no straight away.

calls then goes to hold music once answered - ain't nobody got time for that!

As soon as I answer they hang up

this number keeps calling our business - when I answer it goes straight to dial tone
