Went to unanswered calls and no message was left. Rang the number and got a "full mail box" message for a different extension. I suspect a scam call.

Claiming to be from service that blocks unsolicited calls. He had my name & address then said I need to confirm your credit card that you gave your phone provider.I haven't given one to carrier. Hung up.Indian accent ,chatter in background.

A very suspicious character who said he was from Telstra and said there was a new version of the call blocking service and he needed our details to update etc. He gave me the number 7 3073 4252. I said is that Brisbane> He said of course. I said well Brisbane is 07....and told him I would call back. Dodgy.

Same. The guy went through publicly listed info for us, name, address, phone number. When I asked him if he could block his number (07) 3073 4252 from coming through to my phone he hesitated; definitely a con from overseas call centre.

I had a very similar experience and I had my doubts as he asked me about my credit card. I told him that I did not want to go any further and hung up. I also rang the number and got a similar message to the number 3 person on this list. This seems to be something fishy and I urge people to hang up and not give these people any details.

Claimed to offer a service that blocks calls from call centers - I could hear all the chatter of a call center in the background ?

Claimed to be from Telstra and that they were putting something on my line next week and that I would no longer receive annoying calls. He verified my name, address and phone number and then wanted me to check the expiry date on my Credit Card that Telstra had listed. Told him I do not have a Credit Card listed with Telstra and that he was lying to me. He assured me that he was not lying and that I did have the card listed with Telstra and that I needed to check the expiry date.
