SCAM call from a call center for "some charity's"

Look's to me another Scam as usual, could hear voices in the background but they said nothing.

Phone rang so I waited for them to leave a message and listened but they hung up.

Caller: I won't answer

They call at least 4 times every day, all different times of the day. I won't answer. So far has lasted about 3 to 4 weeks. Leave me alone. I don't know if I can block on my home land-line phone otherwise I would block

Said she was from Australian charity survey, Yeah right! so I hung up on this scammer

rang my mobile twice but did not answer it. Blocked now due to this page and comments

Didn't recognise the number, so didn't answer. From what I've read in the comments here, it was a scam of some sort. Again, what is the use of the Do Not Call Register ?
As for the Call Type, ....... all of the given choices.

Scam * greater scam x Scam... why isn't there a government regulation and action to stop these pieces of (that thing that comes out of any animal backend)..

Number came up as 061730734209. Didn’t answer because the number didn’t look right.

This number rang my phone, because I didn't recognise the number and have been getting a lot of similar calls over the last few weeks I didn't answer. the caller did not leave a message.

This number ending with734209 but different prefixes calls often, when I answer no one is there and it disconnects, so annoying waste of time and effort

Keeps calling several times a day. Hangs up before I get there. Shows up as (07) 3073 4209. Makes me think it’s a call centre.

Blocked this number but they still try to call every day. Scam for sure

Don't answer it. any call that is silent when you answer is usually getting a recording of your voice OR they are logging when you answer to determine if someone is available for future calls.
