Scammers, said my internet line was compromised

Caller: said they were from Telstra

asked for a call back number - the guy refused, asked for his supervisor, he refused - asked him to repeat himself and generally had a lot of fun before telling him to f&#k 0ff

They sid they were from Amazon - I hung up

When I answered the other party immediately hung up. So I jumped online to see if I could find out who called and based on the experiences of others I have blocked the number.

Caller said they were from Telstra and my IP address was compromised. Told them they have tried this a few times already, they were a scam and to stop calling me. Then I hung up. It was obviously from a call centre.

Stated they were from my Visa company - press 1 to authorise a transaction or 2 to speak to a customer service rep. Hang up, block, delete.

Didnt talk - just heard lots of voices in the back ground with Indian accents. Hung up and blocked

Just a foreign scammer purporting to be from Telstra and saying their call centre in India was receiving an error message from our system.

I got the same

Called at 2:00pm, pause before going through (often a sign of fraud) - I hung up and checked the number on this site - already 14 complaints. Blocked and deleted.

Didn’t leave message. I called number back and it’s constantly busy! Scammers

said they were from commonwealth bank and some one was using my Mastercard

Was a recorded msg saying they were from bank - there had been an unusual transaction on mastercard for online shopping, mentioned the amt. I’ve had this before and just hung up. When you try calling back there’s no connection!

Said from Amazon have not account with amazon

Amazon same message you always get about them billing your account so much money.....same old blah blah!

Not answered no message left. Number said from Brisbane

Started to say something about my Amazon Prime today...I hung up.

scam caller.. wants to fix my internet

scammers saying that my Visa card had international transactions at 4am. Was false information and were trying to keep me on the line whilst they hacked my phone
