It really is the commonwealth bank. Completely legit. It's their arrears officers / debt collectors. Behind on a mortgage, personal loan etc. They're trying to make a repayment arrangement

Don't believe any of these so called people saying it is commbank it is not confirmed it myself by going down to the bank, anyone saying it isn't a scam is in on the scam and should be ashamed of themselves

Left message. Claims to be CTB for a previous person in household requesting a callback. Likely scam as details several years old and no longer current

Tried at 9am and 4pm today on 2 different similar numbers. I drove to com bank today and it's not them

Called number bank and got a recorded message from Commonwealth Bank.

I called back number (07) 3063 4506 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

My credit card is overdue so it is CBA but my phone still screened it as spam and shut it down but is legit.

This is 100% a scam! I called the Commbank number and they confirmed they’ll very rarely call you and they definitely did not call me. The number has called a few times but do not press anything that’s how they access your account

Calling me multiple times from different but similar numbers and always leave a message thats just silence and then a hang up clank. If it was important they would leave a message. Scam.

Recieved a call from this number it asked for personal info and claimed to be commbank. Called back the actual commbank who confirmed that the number is a scammer and the call was not from commbank.

Scam. I asked at 2 different commonwealth banks and they said its not them.

They keep calling me and I don't have lons with commbank I have two savings accounts. I also have the app and they would send me a notification via that, like they normally do.

Then why are they calling at 8pm

CBA - for missed payments/payment arrears. I didn’t answer the call but did call back and the robot operator says it’s CBA. After reading the other comments here, I did check my account to see I missed my last personal loan payment. This phone call would be legitimate and not a scam. Payment made, hopefully no more phone calls.

It’s a scam !! Anyone saying otherwise are part of this scam. CBA always send you mail letting you know if you’re behind on payments.
