I answer the phone, no one is on the other end and then they hang up. Very annoying!

Answered call, was immediately greeted with "on hold" music. I suspect telemarketing or charity.

only calls on the home phone several times a week. Have turned the ringer down so I don't even hear it ring now. They seem to be rather persistent though as they seem to have called many times a week going by my caller ID log!
