Got a call to say fraudulent transaction of ANZ account. After a prolonged conversation including providing afresh card number, validity & CVV and then even a "secure" pin number they said that fraudulent transaction will be placed on hold. Even mentioned that the card was being used for international transaction with USA & South Africa so I shouldn't use it. Finally, he said that in order to continue cancellation of the card, he needed the card registration number. That got me doubting & I hung up. Checked account no transaction registered in the account so I hope no harm done.

Call from (07) 3040 2837 claiming to be Telstra customer care. Indian accent said my broadband was slowing. I'm not even with Telstra. DO NOT ANSWER this number. Definitely a scam

Advised they were calling from NAB about an unauthorised transaction.
I told them I would call the bank and hung up.
When I tried to call the number back, it gave the engaged signal.

Originally I was rung on 0417 751 430, followed by repeated calls from this landline number, wanting my card details. Claimed to be from the CBA. Also sent me a text from my bank (not CBA), to confirm payment to South Africa. When I started asking questions, they got very aggressive. Rang my bank and cancelled my card. Don't answer either number.
