I was left an automated voicemail regarding outstanding Tax. Roy threatened to arrest and said I had to pay $900

Caller: fake tax office

Said he was from the tax office. Indian accent. I asked them if they had information about me so I could be sure it was the tax office, and they hung up on me.

Same, left a voice message saying a lawsuit is being filed. Scammers! Don't answer

I really want to speak to Roy again... I called him back to apologise and pay whatever I owe him, he ended up hanging up and wont take calls from me anymore :( I really hope I'm not going to get arrested...

Scam. Fake robot recorded message saying they are ATO, I filed my tax wrong and they will arrest me if I don't call back.

This number should be blocked.

Male, Robot, Aussie accent voice saying there’s something wrong with my tact return. Hung up before I heard the full message. Do not answer or call back

A male scammer rang last week on this number saying were from ATO & just now a female with Indian accent rang on same number & said was calling about an accident I supposedly had & law suit. Called her a scammer & said I worked for Telstra fraud dept & would trace the phone number & find her to stop her scamming people so of course she hung up. Why do Telstra allow people to get an Aust number then probably put a diversion on it to overseas call centre scammers? As soon as we report these harassing calls from scammers Telstra should put an end to the number being used but they don't care!
