If these guys are calling you, it usually means you are behind on a debt repayment. If you are struggling, try to look for a debt consolidation loan. There are also options for people who have a bad credit history, that is NOT bankruptcy.

Not giving details of who they are? F*ck off. As if I'm calling you back! I've had no letters or anything from St George and am up to date with them. Pay day tomorrow anyway so they can suck a fat one.

Anyone else have this number call them and they just don't say anything? You're there saying hello 10 times and it's just complete silence

Collection House is their name. They do recoveries for ANZ, St George, a number of companies. It's a legit number and call. St George and ANZ outsource accounts in arrears to collection house and all it means is that your current account is in arrears. Might be one payment, might be a couple.

Keeps ringing me asking for someone I've never heard of even though I've told them several times that this has been my number for the last 15 years. Cockheads.

Just had two calls from this number within 5 mins. No message left. Dont answer land line for this reason. If somebody needs to talk to us leave a message and we will get back to you. They obviously dont know us because all my family and friends know to talk then if we are here we will pick up. No message no pick up or call back Simple!

Dodgy as. After identifying herself as a St George rep, then asked for my full name and dob.
Curiously I’ve never had an account with that bank. People, never give personal details to cold callers. Have a good one.

This number called me and asked for someone with my surname but a different first name. It sounded like a call centre. When I said they had the wrong number they apologised and hung up. She was not rude, quite polite actually but obviously trying to find someone they could not locate.

I've had heaps of missed calls from this number. They never ring when I'm home. I'm not with St George or ANZ and certainly don't have any debts or payments in arrears, so I believe they are scammers.

The most stupidest people! I'm ONE payment behind! That's ONE week, NOT a month. They can bloody well call till Prince Charles marrys Carmilla!! Their phone calls are so annoying and the last time I answered, I told the Curry Muncher to ask his father to pay the arrears!!

St George Debt Collection, Loan is 92% paid, a few months to go, running late last few months due to intermittent work following redundancy, but still hounded with letters of threat, sarcastic texts and constant calls from numerous numbers, sometimes a hidden number, one text saying they are there to help me, quite often spoken down to and cross examined by a nil life experienced nobody, can confirm other comments that calls continue well after account is back in credit.

Collection House Limited
- Outsourced arrears department for St George Auto Finance, Capital Finance, Bank of Melbourne, BankSA.
- They cannot leave messages stating where they are calling from as this is in breach of the National Credit Code and Australian Privacy Principles put in place to protect your own privacy! I'm sure you don't want messages being left with 3rd parties saying you are in debt!
- The calls are run through and automated dialler system where a computer dials numbers and once answered it gets transferred to a representative, who doesn't get to see the account until you say hello! So be patient with them.
- They can continue to call until they make contact. If they make successful contact where they fully identify the customer then they are only allowed to do this 3 times a week. If you do not fully identify yourself or if you do not answer they are free to keep calling.

At the end of the day, pay your bills and you wont have an issue
