Rang my husband and asked him to pass on a message to have me call them quoting ref #. Called back and was on hold for 10mins +. Listening to the financial ads while on hold but it didn't mention who the company was. Anyway I blocked it and told hubby to do the same.

If its debt collection they would contact you via post as they'd have your address. If they don't have your address, not legitimate debt collection!

They give a reference number but it is not clear what the matter is about, who they represent. Are there some rules if it is a genuine debt collection company about what they need to reveal. Caller has Australian accent but poor call quality and it could be a generated voice.
