Hey Bob, looks like these guys are calling the next door neighbor of people who owe money....
Bob do you work for a merc agent?
This company buys a debt at a discount rate then calls repeatedly over a short space of time - yes they do give up.

If you can be bothered talking to them - when they ask to speak to ...Jon Smith just say no they’ve passed away or he’s in jail having been caught making sweet sweet love to a goat with 2 decomposing bodies near by - ask them to note it in system because u find these type of calls quite traumatic...you can say this in a voice that sounds like u r crying or pissed off....or just search the number on this awes site and block the dikheads on your phone

I get clusters of calls from this company for a man I've never heard of, whose name I can't even spell. First time I got their 5 or so messages in a week, I called back to tell them my number had nothing to do with the man. The calls stopped for a few months and now we're back to up to 3 messages A DAY. Debt collection is all well and good but do it intelligently and professionally - don't randomly spam strangers to meet KPIs!

Caller: Credit Corp

Credit Corp continually chase you for supposedly unpaid debts that they have purchased from a finance company for as little as 4c in every debt dollar you supposedly owe. So for a $1000 debt they have purchased for as little as $40.
Never ever ring them back as your credit year blacklist will start again.
Your debt gets wiped after 7 years if you don't make any contact with them.
Block their number but they will continually ring you on other phone numbers that they have a rotation of hundreds of landlines & mobile phone numbers they use.
Rule of thumb is never answer any phone calls from people you don't know if they aren't in your address book.

Repeatedly calls me on various numbers, rarely speak, ask for someone sometimes-it is not me, and when I say I am not that person they try to ask me about that person anyway??? I get that people are trying to collect debts, but if you are told you have the wrong number there should be some way of reporting them to make them stop harassing the wrong person!

These people from "Collection House" keep ringing me, claiming I was involved in a car accident on Grange Road (Adelaide) last September with their "client". I don't EVER drive down that road, nor was I in any car accident. In fact, I catch public transport most days. And how they know my name and number is beyond me when I have never even met said "client", let alone gave them my name and contact details. All I have to say is these bastards are dodgy, fishing for personal info most likely. Rang them back and their answering machine doesn't even reveal their company name. Getting the cops to check them out for me.

Same as TMC - this guy Dave asks about my neighbour across the road and will I deliver a message to her? He tells me it is personal business. WTF??? And pull your head in, Bill. This was an unsolicited call to me about my unknown neighbour. This Dave could always arrive & knock on her door, surely? If he had my name & address, he would have FULL info on her..........

If you don't like getting calls from debt colletors pay your bills tool!

Just an FYI for you, if you don't talk to them to sort it out what do you think they will do next, just forget about it??? don't think so, you will find yourself paying more.

I find it funny that people complain about getting heaps of calls from debt collectors when all they need to do is just answer one of the calls and sort out the debt the calls stop.

These scum have used a reverse phone search by street to get my number to ask me questions about my neighbour that owes them money. This is WRONG and my next stop is ACCC where I will make a full complaint. Maggots.

This number has been ringing my mobile & continually hanging up if they don't reach me. They finally left a message this time with a reference # and I rung them back only to have them ask me to verify my identity with personal information. I refused to give them any id & they asked me if I had ever lived in Rockhampton (QLD) and I haven't, so they ended the call. I still have no idea what it was about.

Sample complaints we have found for (07) 3017 3000

tigger

They are also lion finance

Cael

It is Collection House LTD.They try it on, scare tactics, bullying, lies and essentially thuggery tactics. All you need to do, as with all bully tactic employing fascists, is IGNORE THEM. They do not have a leg to stand on when they call a private phone number without having obtained permission from the actual owner of the private number to obtain their information. If obtained via a third party, then, depending on the circumstances of obtainment, the thrid party is thereby copable with benefitting from the proceeds of criminal activity.

BB

These people called me so many times, I couldnt stand it, I changed my phone number....

The kept calling and saying I owed them money. It was the same name but different birthdate. They thought I was lying and kept calling. IGNORE THEM!!! Block the number...

debtcollector

these people nothing better to do just trying same name people that they are looking for.  they have no ideas at all but annoy you and just trying their luck to find the right person they are looking for.would you try calling a few wrong people for thousands of dollars, dont hate the collectors hate the scum that think they can get away with ripping off companies

mike

You can ignore it but they have the authority to issue a summons or statement of claim and take you to court.  the court can make judgement in your absence if you dont show and that will effect your credit for about 10 years+.  Not to mention they can then get a garnishment of your wages.

unhappy call receiver
