After the usual call centre sounds, the person claimed to from telstra and said my phone IP address had changed from private to public and he wanted to check and would show me how. I told them to send me an email to my account which confused them. Then I hung up. It was a scam.

I answered and no one was on the other end, just silence then it hung up

Caller: i don’t know likely a scam, i’ve received two calls this week from 07 numbers with different last 3 digits. no voicemail, but haven’t wanted to answer.
