Claimed to be working for Australian fraud prevention. Said there was a transaction for a New Zealand tool company that I have not sent funds to previously and they wanted to know if it was me. They couldn't provide the last 4 digits for the card in question and claimed to be working on behalf of all the major banks. They did not ask for personal details, only how much my last transaction was and the remaining balance in the account. I did not provide them with accurate answers to their questions.

I received a call from this number stating they was from Amazon and that my account had charges to it of $499 then they stated that they have made fake account on Amazon for this charge with my bank details wanting my info to cancel the payment even when I told them funny when I have no money in my account they are trying to spend it, this a scam I have seen multiple times.

Hung up as soon as I answered. But it was not a number we knew. Clearly, after seeing the other comments, a scam.
