Caller: EBatly Woman “from eBay” asked if I had bought a gift card for $299. Very pushy. Wanted mentoring on an app on my phone. Dais if I can’t do it then she would have to authorise this fraudulent transaction. The most pushy scammer I’ve ever ver encountered.

Scammer say shes from from EBay. Very persistent. Asked me to log in to an app. I said I can’t because I’m driving. She asked me to pull over. I went along with it. I was pulled iver as she thought bit I’d arrived at my destination by then. Very forceful! . Next, I told her I don’t have wifi or Bluetooth. She then said that she’d have to approve the transaction. I answered that if she’s from EBay snd I’ve told her I haven’t bought a gift card for $299, she knows it’s fraudulent, so it’s her responsibility to cancel the alleged transaction. She said she has to approve it. I replied to hold it and call me back in one hour. Also she said she’s from Sydney, yet the area code shows Queensland . . I asked her name and she said “Anne Wilson”. Had an accent - Indian or similar
