Claims to be from Telstra Broadband but I'm not with Telstra

Caller: Woman

Advised my internet was slow and that why I was called. Wanted me to perform speed test on internet connection, what speed was, what ping latency was.

Didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, checking online it's definitely a scammer from Indian scam call centre

Scam

Male very well spoken with slight accent, to be from Telstra calling about our internet line. We have poor reception so I asked them to repeat themselves due to the bad reception they hung up. Tried to call the number back and cannot get through just beeps.

Hung up as soon as I answered.

This phone number is not a listed number. It is a scam number.

We let the first call ring out to see if anyone left a message. They didn't and it immediately began ringing again. I picked it up and said "Hello", heard a someone with an accent say "hello" then they just hung up. I called the number and it was engaged.

Claimed to be PayPal calling re $900 transaction
Hung up
Signed into PayPal- no activity

Suspect scam call. Disconects automatically if no speech detected in a second.

Unknown caller. Did not leave message.
