Caller: Supposedly a Telstra representative

Indian lady or some other type of ethnic person you can never tell who these people are., asked me if I knew that my Internet line had gone from Private to Public. When I said that I wasn’t with Telstra for my Internet provider they promptly hung up. How rude. I tried to call them back, but of course you can’t get through to anybody. Definitely a scam.

Caller: Telstra Rep - supposedly

Same as JoAnnT comment but my lady went further to say that Telstra is the provider even if you are with an other company. She then tells you that she needs to get your IP number for you mobile data. This number is confidential, so do not tell her, but she would like you to check it. She then asks you to put your phone on speaker and then starts to give you directions around what she wants you to open. At this stage I stopped her and said what is her contact number at Telstra and her full name so I can call back. she hung up!

Called me 7/10 and hung up when I picked up. This number has called previously claiming to be a Telstra representative and saying my internet has issues... Definitely a scam..

Wanted to tell me of many withdrawalls from my account. Hung up when I asked which bank????

Like the previous poster, said they were from “Telstra Internet” and when I told them I’m not a Telstra customer they hung up.
Definitely a scam.

Received phone call from this number, but as it was not a familiar number, it was let go to the answering machine. No message was left.
