Called today looking for a minimum $20 donation to assist their organisation to eradicate dog and cat being destroyed by local councils due to them being overwhelmed because of Covid.

When I asked for more information on the organisation as I have never heard of such organisation, I was met with silence and had to ask if they were still on the line. I was told that I would need to be put through to a supervisor to be given more information.

I hung up and did not wait to speak to the supervisor as this raise my suspicions as this was the strangest call from a "charity" I have encountered. Also, when I tried calling back, it states the number is not connected.
