Called and left message that I had $999.90 AUD from paypal and to press 1 to decline and 2 to accept. It was a robo/automated voice.

Received a call, and hung up as soon as I answered.

Caller: Lady with Indian accent

Couldn't really understand her, She was on about two transactions on my Visa card ( I DONT HAVE VISA)

Indian scammers hang up and don’t share any information

Received a call from this number and no one answered when I picked up. Hung up straightway. Must be a scammer.!!

I picked up, said nothing..a bloke who had a ent said hello I’m Peter FROM THE TELSTRA DEPARTMENT… now if it was telstra, they are not a department, nor do they just call you. Ovpbvious scam. I just hung up and register as spam

Definetely a scam. Long delay before call connects suggesting overseas scam call centre.

I didn't answer because my phone identified this as Potential Fraud—I'm glad I didn't! The number is now blocked on my phone.

Caller: PayPal (apparently)

Answered the call it was a recorded message stating my account was flagged as fraudulent activity, press 1 if I hadn’t processed a recent payment for a “$$$ gift card”. Pressed one & a guy sounded very professional & from “PayPal” wanted me to open safari & log into secure site but as he called out website address letters my suspicion raised. I queried him he got a tad aggressive & I just said I’d call back. He said well if you go now we won’t be able to cover any future fraudulent activity, he was so pushy. I hung up, called PayPal via my app & hey presto it was a scam, relief that there was no fraudulent activity on my account and I’d sussed a scammer. Be aware, these guys were very good as scammers go!

There was the usual pause you get from scam calls, then sound of a call centre and someone telling me they were from the Telstra technical department. I hung up and blocked it.

Hung up when answered - now blocked.

Called & left no message,. Called back and it said inbox was full?

Another scam demanding payment, don’t answer, block it.
