Caller: Claimed to be NBN

Received a call on landline ... claimed to be NBN ( female with Indian/Pakistani accent ) and as we know they don't/won't call consumers directly, quickly determined this was a scam. Hung up and blocked the number

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra?

Wanted me to check my IP address as it been changed without my permission. I broke out in laughter and she asked why I was laughing. I said I work for Telstra and I know what a crock of Sh$# this call is, but happy to have a chat about your success rate and how you feel about scamming vulnerable people. Surprisingly she hung up on me.

Caller: Claimed to be PayPal security

Called and said PayPal security banking with a recorded message asking to verify my banking details I don’t even have PayPal

Caller claimed to be from Mastercard/Visa security (1st sign of scam). He had an accent (Indian/Pakistan). He claimed that he was calling about 2 overseas transactions yesterday morning on my card - 1 Amazon & 1 Ebay. He said that they had put the transactions on hold & wanted to know if I had authorised them. I asked him which card. He said your bankcard. I said thar bankcard is gone & hasn't existed for years. I again asked which card. He said that he wanted to put me through to my bank & wanted to know the name of my bank. I said that he would have to tell me which card, different cards, different banks. He then went back to saying the bank of my bankcard so I repeated that bankcard doesn't exist. He obviously got frustrated so he hung up on me. SCAMMER, SCAMMER!!!!

Claiming to be NAB fraud team. Reported.

Said they were from telstra sounded Indian gave very anglo name and an ID number, knew my email supposedly sent an email while I was on the phone none received, claimed to have made further attempts while talking. A number of subsequent numbers in quick succession have tried to call since I put my phone on do not disturb; (02) 8722 2502, (07) 2113 2464, (07) 2113 2460, (07) 2113 2476 and many others with differing prefixes.

I was suspicious and didn't answer, and having checked this website, i am glad I didn't waste my time with them. They left no message.

Scam number claiming to be from Telstra.

Claims my vodaphone account is about to be suspended , number appears to be a Brisbane land line. They hung up when i asked to speak to a adult.

Pre recorded message claiming to have a package. Blocked.

Another stupid scammer claiming to be PayPal, demanding payment for purchases not made. These scammers have to stop causing distraction others. Do not provide any personal or financial information.

Stated doing security check for a PayPal payment

Automated call, something about my "Amazon Prime" being auto-renewed. I hung up so don't know what they wanted. Blocked

Received, and did not answer, call from this number. Shortly after received another call but from (07) 2113 2458. Only two digits difference so assume it is the same call centre.

Blocked as phone told me was a spam/scam caller

I never answer numbers that I don't know as they're all scammers.

Claimed there was a problem with my Telstra internet. Clearly a scam so hung up

Unknown number again. I didn't answer and no message was left. I saw the previous comment on this page regarding this number and I have also blocked them as a result.
