Calls and hangs up immediately - most likely phishing scammers or calls to check on numbers from the 'Do Not Call' list.

*scammers have been 'buying/accessing' the Do Not Call register and then cold-calling the numbers to ascertain whether the numbers are in fact still in use, to then sell on further to other scammer/sales phishing attacks.

It seems most nuscience calls start with the same prefix. It's about time the telecommunication providers pulled their collective fingers out and did something. These calls always happen when I am doing something that I should not leave.

Charity cold call.

The phone was silent for a while before hanging up. I have had a number of calls from numbers that all start the same way except for the last 2 digits. Must be scam callers

I didn't recognise the number- I never pick up for numbers unknown to me.
