Caller: Australian burue of statistics which is a lie

It’s dodgy as hell trying to do a 15 second census survey over the phone which census does not conduct anything over the phone

I have gotten a lot of calls from 07 2111…. Numbers and everyone has been a scam call. Ive been abused/death threatened/sworn at and hung up on wheneve ive called em out on it.

Unable to confirm this caller was actually from Australia Bureau of Statics, when I said I would prefer not to do this as documents had previously been submitted. I was hung up on

Asked for personal information and became annoyed when I stated I preferred not to answer. Definitely scam caller. ABS does not conduct unsolicited phone surveys.

Don't answer and block number. Scammers claiming to be from the ABS.

Caller: Claimed to be from Ipswich City Council

Saying they were from the council. Couldn't pronounce the word Ipswich. Wanted to conduct a quick survey. I haven't lived in Queensland for over 5 years and never in that region. I lived in Queensland before I got married but they called me by my married name. When they asked if it was okay to do a survey, I said no and they hung up. Was clearly calling from a call centre not located in Australia.

Did not answer, no message left so did not return call.

Stated was Australian Bureau of Statistics. Hung up when I questioned purpose of call

It is one of my many blocked numbers, but I'm still alerted by a spam message they called. A scam call is typical when no message is left.

Pretending to be the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Don't get scammed here - once I asked "how do i know you're from the ABS?" they hung up on me. Re-dialled the number to check, and surprise, it's a disconnected number.
Dodgy as heck - don't get duped.
