Caller: Scam- Amazon

Claim I purchased a $300 gift certificate from Amazon. Wanted personal details to cancel

said need to cancel my internet for 6days ....

Caller: Scam! claimed to be from Visa and MasterCard Security and Fraud Department

SCAM! Caller Identified herself as Rose Lambert and gave me an ID 800890 claimed that $400 transaction occurred with Amazon and $252 with eBay from my account at 4:15am under the name of Mr Robert Brown location Boston, she told me the transaction is on hold and she asked for my bank details so she could connect me to the bank to stop the fraudulent transaction and get my money back.
Total Scam!!! do not give any information, hang up and Ring your own bank and the actual Fraud Department and inform them of the attempted Scam

Hung up upon my answering

Had a call from this number but it is a number I did not know. I did not answer but thought I would check on here. Glad I did. I have now blocked the number.

Unexpected call which I didn't answer due to it being flagged as a possible scam.
Tried calling it back from a different number and received the pre-recorded message of "the number you have dialled is not in service, please check before calling again"

Said she was from something NSW. When I asked her to repeat where from she hung up. Called from a Brisbane number.

Just got a call from this number - didn't answer - then checked here - glad I did.
Have now blocked them on my fancy landline phone.

The old Solar Panels scam.

Even when I ask how they are going to scam me, they assure me they're not going to scam me. Then they ask if my house has solar panels.

Try something new at least.

Sick of these Indian scammers and also sick of Telstra saying there is nothing they can do? Really? How do Indians use local numbers then? Do something to stop this Telstra.

Scammer. Claimed to be VISA/MasterCard department and then hung up.

Repeat caller re telstra and router buttons flashing. I hung up after explaining they were scammers and ought get respectable work. No telco cold calls or asks questions like this nor speaks rudely.

Scammer purporting to be from Telstra internet, knew my name after I asked, wanted me to do something on my computer to "fix" the nonexisting problem of "bad activity" emanating from my modem. Telstra confirms they did not contact me.

Calling from Telstra, hackers are trying to hack my internet.
Cancel internet for 6 days

Claimed my internet was having issues when that wasn't the case, wanted access to my router. Dodgy.

Claiming to be from Telstra telling me i had internet issues, Total Scam blocked and reported

Caller: Indian guy

Claimed he was from telstra and they had been hacked so they wanted to hide my IP address to prevent me from being hacked. I told them I'm with optus then he said telstra owns optus, Vodafone etc and I said no, that's not true, he said they own all nbn lines etc. Basically kept changing his story.

Said he was from Amazon. I dont have Amazon. I said to the man that he should get a life and stop scamming people. He hung up straight away lol

On message bank " Hey.... hey..... hey"
Obviously didn't know they were still live.
Will be blocking.
