Caller: Unknown Called and said they were from Telstra and my IP network has been turned from Private to Public and i could be in danger of being compromised. Asking for access to my desktop through anydesk or "Enydeks" as they said. I was able to keep them on the phone for 20mins so that person couldn't scam someone else in that time.

They say they are from Optus and there was a problem with my internet speed. I annoyed the guy until he got frustrated with me and said he would report me to their area manager. I only kept asking him to prove he was from Optus and he said I was rude and that was the problem with people in Australia.

Caller: Broken english caller claiming from NPL Received a call today by a person claiming to be from NPL and advising me of problems with my internet. When asked details of the problem he recited the same scripted message as when he started the call. Although hard to understand, it sounded like he was requesting access to my PC to find the cause of the problem. I've now blocked this phone number
