Caller: Solar Panels Australia Came from a local number, but sounded like they switched to an overseas Call Centre when connected. The lady had a heavy Indian accent, and speaking in a very Americanised way as if reading from a script. She had trouble understanding what I was saying and asking to repeat several times. Said she was calling from "Solar Panels Australia" and started asking questions around if I'm the home owner, how much I spend on electricity, and even confirm my address. When asked where she got my number from the reply was: "I got it from our database from marketing team, I don't know where they got it from." Nice!! Asked her to remove my details off their database, she hanged up. Clearly unsolicidted use of personal data - looks like my number was again sold to 3rd parties. So tired of this!!
