Indian woman telling me she is calling about my phone number- giving me a 50% discount because I have been using my mobile number for a long while. Providers wouldn't do that so I asked from where she's calling, said optus...I'm not with optus. She hung up real quick.

Someone pretending to be from my service provider but did not know any of my information, definitely a scam

This is not the first time I have had a scam call from this number. What are the police doing about it. Yes I know they can't do much about India but this is an Australian number - come on AFP - get onto it.

Had 2 missed calls let the phone ring out then had a dodgy voicemail some Asian dog hang up when realised message back then try call back.

Don’t know who the caller is because everytime I answer it they hang up. I suspect it is a spam call.

Scam , hung up but called back , so annoying.

Indian woman so rude, sarcastically said “oh I’m fine, thanks so much for your concern” when I didn’t ask her how she was because she ignored me when I asked where she’s calling from. Tried to tell me I’ve been using my number a long time and can now get a discount but I need to get out of my contract with my current provider. She says she works for some part of Optus. Anyway I hung up. Big scam.

Caller wanted to give me a 40% discount on call charges. $20 for 1gb of data a month. I told him I pay $30 for 24 gb already. He told me not to lie or he will shoot me.
I said ‘wow that’s a bit extreme’ and started laughing. He said ‘don’t laugh too hard or your teeth will come out.’

I received a call from this number...my phone rang once and they hung up b4 I could answer. I rang back and there was an Optus message advising it has been disconnected. Clearly a scam call. Hang up or don't answer.

A guy with an Indian accent called me and said his name Thomas then my number and asked me to confirm
I asked who he was working for and when he said OPTUS I hung up and blocked
I’m not with this telco and I don’t like cold calls.

A guy trying to persuade me to give my details for a discount. He told me that Optus is my service provider when they aren't. Ended call and blocked number.

Caller: Absolutely Marketing

An Irish accented man was calling about my recent car accident and telling me there was $20000 compensation kept aside due to my injury (no injury occurred or claimed) both parties fully insured and they made no mention of such a thing so it's a scam. Extension number was (07) 2101 3953

Same as the rest call about offering discounted phone service

Man asked for the phone number holder. When I said it was me, he said no, I mean your mum. He hung up when I said I was 30

Recived a call from this number today. Sounded like and Indian scammer, saying that I am entitled for a 30 to 50 pecent discount since I have been using my phone for a long time. When I asked him which company he was working for he said he was working for an Optus wholesaler. I told him that I am not with Optus and called him a F*** scammer. He was quick to hang up.

Caller today passed me to his supervisor, could not tell me anything about my connection, however were offering a wonderful new years deal. I acted vague and he wanted me to get my account to answer some questions - re my contract. I was told they would call back in 10. Jumped on here and checked. Number Blocked. Thank you all

rang me about 4 times didnt ring enough to answer i tired to call the number back but it said line busy

Some Guy called to tell me he was calling about my mobile service and asking how much I paid, because I was getting a 30-50% discount on my service. Said I don't know who you are and why you're calling and hung up on him.
