Caller: Eve

Seems like a scam - as they said the boss had been discussing things with someone here (they named) that is not an employee here and hasn't been for a long time.

received call, line collected and once the business name was announced, the caller hung up. number has been blocked.

Caller: Telemarket dialer system

Several calls to our main office, once call connected silence, this number has called & hung up three (3) times this week. No one spoke but could hear that line was connected.

Caller: Eve/Eva

First called my mobile and I didn't answer. Immediately after, the office main line rang and it was Eve/Eva. I didn't answer the phone but the person who did said they asked for me by name and that she was Eve/Eva from CCA - Collections Consultancy Australia. I instructed them to say I wasn't there and to get rid of them. WTH? Some scam place has my number AND my work number. Very worrying. I immediately jumped on to check my credit - all seems fine but now I'm unsure whether it was a scam.

same as above comment, they said their boss has been speaking to someone here and want to talk to him, but he passed away 7 years ago

Caller: was Eve from VCA, CCA, ECA? Strong American accent, I had trouble understanding the name of the company.

Sounded like a scam at first, but I'm not sure. Especially with the other comment on this website 20/6/23 with similarities to my own experience.

She asked to speak with the boss. I advised her he weren't available and asked for details of their enquiry. She said "That's okay. My boss has already had a conversation with NAME about a pdf package. I have NAME's email address, I'll just send it through".
She new the boss's name, and recited his email address, neither of which we advertise anywhere. So POSSIBLY a scam call, maybe not.
