Caller: Foxtel

Says she was foxtel consultant - I didnt believe her especially from a mobile number and i'd get in touch with them directly

Said she was from Foxtel about settop box replacement. She was very quiet and her voice was slighty slurred. When I asked if I could replace them later in the year she agreed. Is this weird?

Caller: Claimed to be Foxtel

Consultant said it’s about set top box upgrade. Very suspicious as it was a mobile number. I’ll call them myself using main number. If it was Foxtel it’s a silly move using a mobile number as it reeks of scam.

Caller: automated message says its foxtel.

automated message says its Foxtel. But I doubt it. They don't call from mobile numbers.
