Recorded message about a late account, said to press 1 to speak to someone, press 2 then I hung up. Rang just after 6am. Definitely a scam call, I get this type regularly

Recorded message, something about a late payment on an account with a company I'm not with. Press 1 to blah blah, then I hung up. Called very early in the morning after a late shift and woke me up, I answered before I was fully awake or I would have noticed it was an unrecognised number and refused the call.
I recommend use an app to block all numbers not in your contacts list. I usually do but had it switched off to allow someone I met at work to dial me then forgot to turn it back on.
Definitely fraudulent.
