got a text claiming online account suspended (not even my bank), this is a SCAM for sure

PLEASE DO NOT PRESS THE LINK AND CALL YOUR BANK PROVIDER IF YOU RECEIVE ANYTHING LIKE THIS

Received a message from this number claiming my netbank has been suspended. rang the commonwealth bank and they said it is a scam. further, they said they would never suspend banking via text. BEWARE!!!!! 04-07-17

It's a scam as mentioned. Please notify scam Australia if you have a moment to do so.

yes I just got a text from this number too, so went online on the computer and accessed my account no problem. Note that the link in my phone was "bank".bz not the usual "bank".com.au

Recieved text from this mobile claiming netbank access suspended. on17-6-17

Mine was obviously suspicious as all that the text contained was nonsense combination of letters (a lazy attempt of a fake link I assume) followed by 'immediately'. I also don't belong to the bank that seems most targeted by fellow complaints.

Apparently my non existing NETBANK account is suspended.
