Caller: SCAM RE: VIDA MASTERCARD A call was received at 1:40 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time April 9, 2022frim a mail perhaps Indian with female or child voice in background. He claimed to represent Visa-MasterCard security. He asked me if I had authorised a payment of some $700 to an unheard of company he named. I said no.When the man said there was nothing to worry about and he would help me “facilitate the cancellation of the payment” I said, “You obviously know who I am and what my Card number is so thank you and goodbye”. I imagine he planned to obtain my card number, expiry date and three digit code for his criminal group’s use.
