Caller: Claiming to be Amazon Prime Scam call. Had a text from another number claiming I’d made an Amazon purchase for a MacBook early this afternoon. This was the follow up call. It was clearly a call Centre on a VOIP line. There was a 10 sec delay, then a woman with an Indian or similar accent answered. She claimed to be calling from Amazon Prime. I challenged her that it was a scam and Amazon wouldn’t be calling from a mobile number. She got defensive: “what? A scam? Its not a scam. Who told you that?” I repeated that I am not stupid, I know it’s a scam and she hung up. I have changed my Amazon account password just in case.
