Rung advising they were from Telstra and wanted to offer long term clients a discount on their plans. They know your email address so try to gain favour with this information and say that they will send you a verification code to your email and mobile. Code comes through and it’s a password reset code sent from your email provider (mine was Microsoft). Accused them of scamming and that I would never give the code. They were persistent that they weren’t scammers…definitely were. Be aware.
