Scam

Trying to sell external door seals. Told me they were visiting Hurstbridge tomorrow. I thought brilliant. I live 125kms away. They can visit whoever they want. Just a sales call even though I'm on the DNCR

Didn’t say anything when I accepted the call, so neither did I. They hung up!

No message left

Phone said Suspected Spam so let caller go to voice mail however message was not recorded

Rang to voicemail. Didn’t leave msg I don’t call back as the comment s suggest scam

There was quite a delay in them speaking so I knew it was a scam call, so I thought let’s have some fun with them. Brian (with a very strong Indian accent) called telling me the Victorian government were providing door seals, asked how many doors I had and that they had some one in my area tomorrow. I said I had 6 doors, he said 6, I said yes, he then stuttered away and I said they where all sliding doors, still he asked multiple times how many normal doors, I said what’s a normal door. He then said someone was in my area and would I like them to come around at 9.30 am. I said fine come round. The address they had was no where .I’d ever lived before. Then they called back in a different number about two minutes later saying his name was Oliver (again with the thick Indian accent)and he was the supervisor, they had double booked the time slot and wanted to know could they come at 2pm, then stuttered saying sorry 1pm. I told him sure come around I’ll be home all day….at this address that I’ve never lived at. I must say I’m getting bored with these stupid calls for solar, electricity and now door seals…I miss the old days of the spam emails selling viagra.

Did not recognize number, did not answer, no message left. Rang back voice with accent " Please wait whilst we connect you" . Mostly likely a scam. Blocked.

Gone to my voicemail, recorded heavy breathing with call centre noise in back ground.

No message left- scam- blocked

Call centre background, asked if I was this person using my first and last name?
I replied: "I do not answer questions from strangers" and hung up.

went to spam. no message left

Scammers calling me at dinner time.

I have had exactly the same experience numerous times. Also on DNCR.
