Indian scammer trying to get my electricity meter number for some sort of scam, gave him a fake address, name and meter number - left him pretty confused, I then blew a whistle in his ear

Caller: Foreign man with an assertive manner

Foreign man wanting to talk about saving me money with household electricity. Red flag moment occurred when he asked for my debit card details after asking me for my home address.

Caller re "Electricity" - bad line - spam?

Six second delay before female foreign voice spoke. Said hi my name mandy. Didn’t give her a chance to say where from. Depends on what script she was reading from. Blew whistle 3 tines. Hope her ears hurt. Why can they not leave us alone. They have made it hard to trust someone when they could be genuine.

A guy called “Eric” called couldn’t tell me where from stating he was contacting me about my electricity bill.
He couldn’t state what company he was calling from.
