Filipino call centre person knew my first name and said she was from ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) - claimed to only be seeking ‘a ten second survey’.
I declined and hung up. ABS states on their site that they request surveys via postal mailing a letter request first, and to ‘beware of phone scams’.

This number called, lady with an accent said she'd like to speak to *insert my name*, I said in regards to what? And she hung up on me.
