Avoid any (02) NSW numbers as it's suspected to be a silent call used to see if your number is available for phishing and scamming. Block and ignore, be careful answering as they can use AI to clone your voice!!

Claimed be calling from PayPal and requesting to reset the password as the account has detected an unauthorized transaction from Canada. I started recording the call and then when checked from which country they are calling from, they mentioned Australia. But the voice was heavily accented and mostly it's being from South East Asian with the high possibility from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan or Sri Lanka. On repeated questions regarding the calling country disconnected the call. The scary part is that they have the name, email and the phone number. Thanks to the recent data breach by Australian companies.

I answered the phone and immediately hung up.

Claimed to be from Telstra calling about my Internet. I have no Telstra services. Hung up on me quickly after I questioned why Telstra was calling me.
