Caller: 1st Energy, apparently I got a call saying it was from 1st Energy and I could get a better rate on my solar tariff, double what I am currently on. I was told to give my email and I wouldn't be signing any contract on the phone or be locked into a contract, and then past onto a supervisor who gave me a mobile, told me to ring and say my name, number and "I want to compare electricity and gas bill", and someone would ring back and I'd need to clearly say "Yes". I haven't done this as I haven't had this experience and it seems a bit off. Is this dodgy?

0489 905 211 called I didn't answer in time so called straight back to say optus advises this number is disconnected - so I blocked it
