This is Ipsos (ABN 52 070 101 352). In the coming days we will call to see if you can take part in an important study on behalf of a government agency.

I got 3 separate calls in 3 straight days. I msg back "Get :Lost" and blocked this number. Bunch of losers wasting time...

Caller: Australian Government

Got a call claiming they were the Australian Government wanting to survey me for some tourism statistics.

Caller: IPSOS

IPSOS is contracted by the government for an anonymous survey on tourism. It’s not a scam but if you’ve done any travel in the last 3 months it takes some time to answer their questions about each trip, whether for work or leisure, domestic or international. If you haven’t done any travel you’re done in a couple of minutes.

Caller: Highly likely Scam

I picked the phone and they stayed there for a sec and hug up.

Like the below i got a text the other day (i deleted and reportted as span) and then they called me today at 6:57pm obviously didnt pick up and blocked number

Caller: Aus gov or that’s what they said

They wanted to do a quick survey but I said I was out and couldn’t entertain them

came up as spam

I received the same SMS claiming with the same message above. " This is Ipsos (ABN 52 070 101 352). In the coming days we will call to see if you can take part in an important study on behalf of a government agency." Not sure if this is legitimate and how it got my number in the first place.
